10 Horror Movie Villains You Didn't Know Were Returning
1. John Kramer
Although he first appears as a terminal cancer patient, Saw's John Kramer just will not die.
The original Jigsaw Killer has struck fear into the hearts of millions with his devilish traps, designed to give his victims a new appreciation for life, unless they kill them first.
Kramer served as the main baddie for the first Saw film, although you wouldn't know it for most of the movie. He does eventually snuff it at the hands of Jeff Denlon in Saw III, but he's somehow managed to appear in every single Saw film since (except Spiral) through various flashbacks and memories.
This trend is set to continue with the new Saw movie, which is coming out in October 2023.
It was announced that Kramer actor Tobin Bell will be part of the film, although is it currently unclear what part he will play in the story. Knowing what we know about Kramer, don't expect Bell to have a small cameo playing an ice cream man.
Saw would be nothing without its main villain, so it's great to see Bell continue to profit from his performances as Jigsaw. Although praising a man for mercilessly murdering countless innocent people with horrible puzzle traps does feel a little unusual.
