10 Horror Movies That Only Make Sense At The End
5. I See You
The terrifically twisted 2019 horror I See You revolves around the abduction of a 10-year-old boy, its connection to a series of historic abductions, and mysterious occurrences taking place in the home of lead detective Greg Harper (Jon Tenney).
It's eventually revealed that the strange events in the house - items going missing and the presence of possibly supernatural forces - are actually being caused by two homeless people who have been hiding in Harper's home and gaslighting them.
One of the duo, Alec (Owen Teague), is determined to drive Greg and his family insane.
Why would he possibly want to do this? Because Greg is actually the serial kidnapper and Alec was one of his intended victims many years prior, being one of the few to survive a run-in with him.
To call this film a wild ride is quite the understatement indeed, as though we're firmly led to expect something supernatural for much of the runtime, the horror is ultimately of the fully grounded flesh-and-blood brand.
