10 Horror Movies That Punish You For Getting Wasted
2. Everyone - Night Of The Demons
Kevin S. Tenney's Night of the Demons is a film that brilliantly ticks off plentiful familiar tropes of the horror genre.
One of those familiar tropes that's front-and-centre here, is the bonkers notion of going to a spooky abandoned building to party. In this instance, just to make things even more illogical, our group of pretty young partygoers opt to make use of an old, empty funeral parlour as the venue for their drinking, fondling and, err, lipstick antics.
Having got their buzz on, these drunken high schoolers decide to carry out a séance. As is so often the case in such films, that proves to be the absolute worst decision the intoxicated teens could have made.
Before you know it, our central group are terrorised by a demon who singles them out and possesses them one by one; usually after having already killed these partiers. By the time Night of the Demons rolls to a close, the film's youngsters all end up disintegrating as the sun comes up.
As for the aforementioned "lipstick antics", one particularly memorable scene of Night of the Demons sees Linnea Quigley's possessed Suzanne push a lipstick through her nipple and into her breast. Yep, that's a thing.
