10 Horror Movies Too Scary To Finish Watching
8. Carnage Park (2016)
The title of this movie definitely gets one thing right, and that's carnage. This is a messy and repulsive flick in all the best ways, with plenty of gore, frights, body parts and a relentless sense of danger that keeps you so far on the edge of your seat you might just slip off. If that sounds like fun, it is, but it's also beyond scary.
This film follows an incredibly tragic heroine called Vivian as a pair of bank robbers take her hostage. However, things somehow get even worse as she ends up on the private land of a deranged veteran named Wyatt, who hunts her down with shocking depravity. There's always a bigger fish.
Carnage Park is an unadulterated shock fest. It's a cacophony of grime and dirt thanks to the gritty visuals, maniacal performances and depraved violence. This makes it truly uncomfortable to watch, and as Vivian's battle with the terrifying antagonist grows, this lack of comfort only increases.
It's a simple tale of struggle and survival but is executed well enough that you'll be edging closer and closer to switching the whole thing off.
