10 Horror Movies Too Scary To Finish Watching

5. Speak No Evil (2022)

It's time for another movie from 2022, once again proving that it's been one hell of a scary year, and not just because of the state of affairs.

Speak No Evil is a harrowing psychological horror that will leave you reeling. It follows a young Danish family who befriends a Dutch family on vacation. The latter eventually invites the former to their country house, but, as you might expect, it isn't the wholesome getaway they were expecting.

This movie is provocative to the max in a way you won't see coming. While the eventual reveal isn't all too surprising, the film still shocks you with some utterly vile/repulsive moments. It's a slow build, but once it gets to the truly harrowing stuff, you'll find that many people will shut it down, just like Blockbuster Video.

It's true that there's often a strange thrill to violence and debauchery in horror movies, but in this one, you won't feel anything but fear, melancholy and hopelessness. That is what makes it the kind of horror movie you'll struggle to finish.
