10 Horror Movies Where The Characters Are All Complete Strangers

That's right, you probably saw this one coming, but come on, how could this movie not make it on the list?

Cube is a sci-fi horror that shows just how well the genres blend. It's stylish and violent, yet cheesy and fun at the same time, giving you the kind of horror experience you're willing to go through again and again. Part of what makes it work is that, like the characters themselves, you have to figure out what kind of personalities these strangers are hiding behind their social masks.

The movie follows a group of strangers who awake in a strange cube-shaped room. They soon discover that the room is connected to a slew of others, with many posing deadly traps that must be navigated around. Thus, they work together to try and make it through, all the while getting to know each other.

This film has garnered a cult following and absolutely deserves it. It's a deliciously pulpy experience with some shocking twists, frightful gore and set design that will leave you reeling. Of course, another aspect of what makes it so fun are the characters, who challenge your expectations and show you that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
