10 Horror Movies With The Worst CGI

6. The Predator

It's easy to pick out horror movies from two decades ago and laugh at how the CGI looks when watched back today, but how about a movie that's barely a few years old?

Despite being the latest entry in one of the most recognisable franchises in cinema, 2018's The Predator features some truly terrible CGI.

For starters, there's the "Ultimate Predator" (yes, that's really the name they went with), super tall, and rendered in full CGI. Maybe in a movie outside of the Predator franchise, it wouldn't have seemed quite so offensive, but seeing the computer generated Ultimate Predator fighting a much more visually sound, practical effects based Predator "fugitive" only highlighted the poor design.

Then, there's the dogs. Predator Dogs, to be more precise - giant, alien beasts that appear to be half Predator and half canine.

The Dogs' design is conspicuously bad, even when judged against the shameless dreck that was this movie. A particular highlight is a scene in which the humans vanquish a Predator Dog, only to have it explode in luminous green goo all over the place.
