10 Horror Remakes Coming In 2019

7. The Fly

If there's any film that doesn't need to be remade, it's The Fly. That's largely since the 1986 film is already a remake of Kurt Neumann's 1958 movie, and David Cronenberg has made reached the peak when it comes to teleportation accidents and sticky insect people intent on amalgamating with as many things as possible: it simply can't be improved.

Jeff Goldblum going full Jeff Goldblum amidst some literal vomit-inducing body horror is the best we're ever going to get, and we don't deserve it, especially with this blasphemous remake apparently in the works. Someone get the rolled up newspaper and swat it before it reproduces.

Thankfully, whilst J. D. Dillard's version of The Fly is slated for a 2019 release according to a few online outlets, there's no real confirmation on where about the film is in production. If the gods are kind, this haphazard clone will get stuck in its own science experiment and wither away to nothing before it ever sees the light of day. But we're completely unbiased in this.
