10 Horror Remakes Coming In 2019

Of course, Stephen King crops up again in what's one of the most exciting remakes to be coming to cinemas, with the 2019 iteration of Pet Sematary ready to bury its source material and bring it back to life a little differently. When a family moves to what seems to be the perfect new home, tragedy strikes - and a strange burial ground nearby seems to hold both their salvation and their doom.

Pet Sematary is a horror classic. The book is phenomenal, and Mary Lambert's 1989 adaptation is an excellent interpretation of the books oppressive, gloomy, and intense tone, most importantly rendering house cat Church as an icon for artwork the world over. The latest take on the work looks set to be especially scary, respecting what's come before whilst updating and exploring the way it's presented on the big screen.

If the trailer is anything to go by, Pet Sematary will be one of the best Stephen King adaptations we get in recent years, right up there with Andy Muschietti's It.
