10 Horror Remakes You Had No Idea Were In The Works
3. Day Of The Dead
George A Romero's zombie classic Day Of The Dead is on the verge of getting a second remake, proving beyond doubt that nothing is sacred.
Directed by Hector Hernandez Vicens and titled Day of the Dead: Bloodline, the new film bills itself as "the cult classic brought back to life".
However, it doesn't appear to do much to live up to that tagline, with only the military bunker setting and the zombies apparently retained from Romero's original.
Bloodline follows a former medical student who is tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie, which sounds... disgusting.
It shouldn't be too long before fans find out just how sacrilegious this one is because it looks to be in advanced stage of development, needing only a release date.
