The premise is simple: a bunch of homicidal aliens come down from outer space, intent on harvesting humans to use for sustenance. But no one seems to be terrified of this invasion of murderous extraterrestrials. Why? They all look like clowns and use weapons that look like comical props. It seems we have bigger problems than the greys to worry about.
Whilst the sequel has been in development hell since the late 80s, it’s only now that the Chiodos brothers’ vision can be realised in a follow up film - pleasing many that have followed the original cult classic for the past 30 years.
