10 Horror TV Shows With Terrifying Surprises

6. Eye On You - Chambers

The Haunting Of Hill House Bent Neck Lady Nell
Netflix

Netflix cancelling this show will forever be one of life’s greatest disappointments. The intriguing plot, beautiful cinematography and fantastic cast come together to create a unique and genuinely disturbing tale of identity, privilege and possession.

After getting a heart transplant due to suffering a heart attack, teen Sasha Yazzie gets weirdly adopted into the family of the girl whose heart she has, Becky Lefevre. Yet Sasha soon sees alarming visions of Becky, and realises that whatever caused Becky to die, is starting to happen to her.

It’s undeniably creepy, and the reveal that Becky’s death was the result of suicide after a cult that her family belong to had sacrificed her body to be a vessel for the demon Lilith was nothing short of pan wetting. Sasha thankfully has Becky removed from her heart, and the evil is vanquished.

However, the final episode drops a huge bombshell: Becky was keeping Lilith at bay, protecting Sasha from becoming fully possessed. The terrifying final moments of the show depict Sasha’s iris splitting into two: Lilith has control, and that is really not good.

But we probably will never know how or if this resolves as the show was cancelled which, considering the fact it's one of the few sources of Native American representation in horror shows, and TV at large, really sucks. But hey, at least we got The Kissing Booth 3 right….
