10 Huge Casting Surprises Avengers: Doomsday Could Still Pull
1. Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield As Peter Parker 2 & 3

The MCU has been in a funk since Avengers: Endgame, it simply can't be denied, but it hasn't been all bad by any stretch. Deadpool and Wolverine released to huge success both critically and commercially, Shang-Chi enjoyed arguably the best origin story in the franchise since Iron Man, and the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy ended on a high.
One of the biggest moments of the Multiverse Saga so far, however, was the return of both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home. There wasn't a single person entering cinemas that didn't expect to see them rock up, but that didn't dampen the goosebumps.
A return in the fifth Avengers movie certainly wouldn't be as expected as before, but it would make a lot of sense. It's a multiversal scrap after all, and the good guys could use all the Spider-Men they can get their hands on.
The further away No Way Home gets, the less likely it seems that either Peter Parker 2 or 3 will return for either Spider-Man 4 or The Amazing Spider-Man 3 respectively, so get them back on screens in an Avengers movie. Neither of them had ever even heard of Earth's Mightiest Heroes before meeting Peter 1 (Tom Holland), but there'd be a spot open for them, without question.
