10 Huge MCU Casting Rumours For Marvel's Phase 4

9. David Morrissey/Bob Odenkirk As Norman Osborn

Heading into Spider-Man: Far From Home, there were rumblings that Norman Osborn would be referenced as the new owner of Avengers Tower. Well, after Marvel Studios and Sony's very public falling out (which was still taking place while the sequel was in post-production), it's no great surprise that the former decided not to bring Oscorp into the MCU.

Now that a new deal has been struck, though, there are once again rumblings about plans for the villain making an appearance in the currently untitled Spider-Man 3. If one report is to be believed, both David Morrissey and Bob Odenkirk are being eyed to play "Stormin' Norman."

Both actors would bring something very different to the role, as Morrissey is no stranger to playing a sinister, unhinged villain after starring in The Walking Dead, while Odenkirk would likely bring a level of sliminess and smugness to the character based on his work in Better Call Saul.

Seeing either one of them suit up as Green Goblin would be pretty amazing, but with rumours pointing to Kraven the Hunter being the threequel's lead villain, it might be best to wait and see with this one.
