10 Huge MCU Casting Rumours For Marvel's Phase 4

Ever since we learned that William Hurt would be reprising the role of General "Thunderbolt" Ross in Captain America: Civil War, rumours have persisted that the character could transform into Red Hulk. With Ross set to appear in Black Widow, though, we're once again hearing similar rumblings online.

In the comic books, he made a deal to be transformed into what he hated in a bid to put an end to Bruce Banner once and for all, but Ross later become a hero and has served as a member of both The Avengers and Thunderbolts. It's that latter team we're interested in, though, as it's said that Red Hulk is going to be leading a new iteration in Phase 4.

His Black Widow appearance will reportedly involve recruiting characters like Taskmaster and Yelena Belova, while both Bucky and U.S. Agent from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are also potentially on his wish list of villains turned heroes.

In terms of Ross actually transforming into Red Hulk, though, we're willing to bet that it's something which is most likely going to take place in the aforementioned She-Hulk TV series.
