10 Hyped 2019 Movies That Disappointed Everyone

3. Toy Story 4

Pixar

Like Monsters University and Incredibles II before it, Toy Story 4 was another Pixar sequel released many, many years after its predecessor. Fans of the franchise had to wait nine long years since Woody and Buzz were last on the big screen, but was it worth the wait?

In typical Toy Story style the fourth instalment in the franchise is full of heart, it's funny, and of course will make you shed just a few tears. As the latest additions to the cast, Keanu Reeves, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are wonderful, as the movie concludes Woody's 24 year long story.

Though it was a strong film, and naturally a hit at the box office, Toy Story 4 essentially rendered the incredibly powerful and emotional ending of Toy Story 3 redundant. Andy's toys were sat staring oblivion in the face, and after accepting their fate, somehow managed to escape to live another day.

Being passed from Andy to Bonnie was the perfect conclusion to the Toy Story franchise. It was heartwarming, tear-jerking, and satisfying. There was no need for a fourth movie to rob Pixar's most popular property of its perfect conclusion.
