With a billion-dollar empire, it would only make sense Bruce Wayne would have a penthouse with a billion-dollar view. We get a peek of the palatial pad when Bruce hosts a fundraiser for Harvey Dent. Never one to miss a party, the Joker makes a late appearance and, after failing to find and kill Dent, settles on shooting party-goers—almost killing Bruce's ladylove.

Situated in the heart of downtown Chicago, the One Illinois Central Street building serves as Bruce Wayne's penthouse apartment. The building, itself, houses businesses, residents, and a 45,000-room hotel. With an emphasis on volume, the interior space also served as the sun-drenched space for Harvey Dent's press conference scenes.

While the interior of One Illinois Central's lobby perfectly aligned with Nolan's vision of Bruce's apartment, the ground-level views were disappointing. To capture the opulent penthouse's lush look, the producers used footage shot at Hotel 71, a nearby building with a much better view.
