Many argue that in one fell swoop, comic book royalty Alan Moore changed the entire face of main canon Batman in both forcing him to face one of his greatest tragedies while also delivering him one of his greatest allies: The Oracle.

It's a testament to the comics that even minor members of the Bat-family are given so much traction that we care so much about them and for this moment to work in a movie, Babs would need to be developed accordingly but if she ever was, and Warner Bros. didn't allow a writer to incorporate this incredible moment into a movie, then we're living in a world gone topsy-turvy.
