Captain America: The First Avenger was released in 2011 to much anticipation. Set in the 1940s, during World War Two, the film does not feel like a traditional superhero flick. But everybody still wanted to see an American Super-Soldier punching Nazis.

As preparation for the role, lead actor Chris Evans underwent a gruelling workout regime in order to perfectly fit the impressive physique of Steve Rogers. But of course, in the film, a weak and skinny Steve Rogers was gifted the imposing muscles thanks to the Super-Solider serum.

This scene produced one of the best improvised moments in the entire MCU. After being injected with the serum, Steve Rogers steps out a new man - a few feet taller and with new bulging muscles.

Peggy Carter, Captain America's partner, played by Hayley Atwell, is overwhelming shocked at the transformation. She portrays the exact reaction that the audience has when seeing Steve Rogers's new look.

It was later revealed that this reaction was completely natural on Atwell's behalf because she had yet to see Chris Evans's impressive training results.
