10 Iconic Film Performances With Hardly Any Screen Time

4. Bill Murray €“ Zombieland

Playing quite possibly the best role ever (himself) Bill Murray€™s brief appearance in Zombieland was one of, if not the, best moments in the entire film and though it€™s not quite on a par with some of the Oscar-winning dramatic performances on this list it€™s nevertheless a brilliant comedic scene delivered with Murray€™s trademark deadpan hilarity. He turns up about halfway through the film, disguised as zombie to survive amongst the undead (or rather, to play golf), in a scene peppered with in-jokes and references to his career, and though he€™s only in Zombieland for a matter of minutes he manages to steal the show even from Woody Harrelson€™s brilliant, Twinkie-obsessed redneck Tallahassee. Before he€™s accidentally shot dead, that is, but even in his dying throes Murray is still hilarious.
