10 Idiotic Decisions Made By Characters In Man of Steel

8. The Bar Bully Who Picks A Fight With Clark

Stacked Superman Speaking of that bar bully, he makes a stupid decision himself when he decides to throw beer down Clark. Granted, the guy doesn€™t know the burly busboy in front of him has superpowers, but even by regular human standards he€™s built like an absolute train. When we compare our two potential fighters, even by normal standards Clark would win handily. Yet this man will not stop pushing it. The point where this goes from foolhardiness into straight-up idiocy is when he decides to throw a punch, which naturally just bounces off the Man of Steel€™s sculpted super-pectoral. The fact this clearly didn€™t faze the man whose got about a foot-and-a-half on you in height should tell you that now is the time to sit down. I€™m not one to advocate bar violence, but when it appears that your potential quarry is built like a terminator and feels pain like one too, it might be a good time to throw in the towel. But does he? Of course not! He chooses to throw something large and hard (I think it was a pan?) at the back of Clark€™s head. If this was any normal man it would probably cause a lot of pain, and he€™d come at you like an enraged bull in the aftermath. And remember, for all intents and purposes, the trucker thinks Clark is a normal man. What he doing is the equivalent of slathering yourself in honey and jumping into a beehive €“ it€™s not a good idea, and it€™s certainly going to hurt. The fact that Clark just walked away and demolished his truck is probably the best thing that could have happened to this man.
