10 Most Important Star Wars Characters Not In The Movies

7. Mandalore The Ultimate

Of all the Mandalorians present in the Star Wars Universe, none has been more significant than Mandalore the Ultimate. Under his leadership, the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders conquered many words in the Galaxy, and nearly defeated the Old Republic. He was such a significant leader that under his leadership, the term €˜Mandalorian€™ expanded beyond the name of a single species into the warrior culture worshiped by those who followed the ways of this new leader. The fact that it took two powerful Jedi in Revan and Malak, who had to rebel against their own Council and seek out the Dark Side of the Force, to defeat him, speaks volumes of his power and capabilities as a leader. Had he continued his campaign against the Republic unopposed, it is likely that the Mandalorians would€™ve toppled the Republic entirely, and Mandalore the Ultimate would€™ve become the new leader of the Republic.
