10 Incredible Castings For Upcoming Movies

10. Florence Pugh - Yelena Belova (Black Widow)

Florence Pugh has been on an absolutely meteoric rise to fame ever since appearing in 2016's Lady Macbeth, and while she certainly has a heap of arthouse cred to her name, she's also sure to bolster her visibility with mainstream audiences by joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer.

In the upcoming Black Widow, Pugh will play Yelena Belova, a fellow Black Widow and "sister" figure to Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), who will become the superhero's uneasy ally over the course of the film.

Naturally many fans are expecting Pugh's Belova to effectively take up the Black Widow mantle by film's end, and honestly, it's tough to imagine a better choice if that truly is Marvel Studios' gameplan.

At 24 years of age she's young enough to play the part for the foreseeable future, while her fantastic performance in Fighting with My Family proved she can pull off physically demanding roles, and the trailer makes it clear she's nailed the Russian accent. What more could you possibly want?

But even if Pugh's MCU tenure ends up simply being a one-off - and what a waste of her talents that would be - Marvel Studios was smart to snap her up before she becomes a much bigger commodity in the coming years.
