10 Incredible Scenes Trapped In Otherwise Bad Movies

3. Tosca - Quantum Of Solace

The group meetings of the sinister organization SPECTRE were some of the highlights of the early Bond films. It should thus come as no surprise that, despite failing in almost every other conceivable way, Quantum Of Solace still found a way to modernise this Bond staple and make it the standout moment of the film. Quantum€™s meeting during Tosca was emblematic of the Daniel Craig movies on the whole. It was practical but spoke to a massive scope, and was far more exciting than a bunch of villains sitting around a table. These hushed whispers under the opera songs were only heightened in importance thanks to the opera€™s own themes of revenge and deception, which echoed throughout the film. Beyond all of this, there€™s nothing quite like seeing Bond get the upper hand. It€™s nice to see his arrogance being justified, and his smug grin as he interrupts their meeting and starts taking pictures makes it clear why Craig is consistently argued as the best version of the character. The artistic chase scene that followed this only furthered to show how in a movie full of experimental takes on classic Bond stylings, even if most were misses, there was still a couple very big hits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFx7hEt940c
