10 Incredibly Clever Moments Of MCU Movie Foreshadowing

In Iron Man 2, we got the first hint that Black Panther was coming to the MCU thanks to the sight of Wakanda marked on a map in the background (and by the same token, we learned that Namor might also be a possible entrant). But there's also a big hint in there to another future MCU appearance that gets overlooked slightly.

When Stark is researching a means to cure his palladium poisoning, he asks JARVIS to access some of his old files to see if there's anything that will help him. He says:

"...Tap the Oracle grid. I need some things out of storage. Give me everything from Projects PEGASUS, EXODUS, and GOLIATH.”

His knowledge of PEGASUS revealed early that he was already spying on SHIELD (though how he missed HYDRA is anyone's guess), while EXODUS might be used to foreshadow the mutant presence in the MCU (since he was a notorious mutant villain). But Project GOLIATH has a more concrete reference point, as eight years after Iron Man 2's release, Dr Bill Foster appeared in Ant-Man & The Wasp and revealed he worked with Hank Pym on Project GOLIATH.

The fact that Stark looks into GOLIATH as a means to save himself from a deteriorating health condition also foreshadows the fact that Foster is himself involved in finding a cure for Ghost's condition.
