1. John Rambo in First Blood
In David Morrell's novel, First Blood, John Rambo dies at the hands of the society he fought desperately to defend in Vietnam. Kind of makes sense, he does destroy an entire town. Yet Stallone saw great potential in Rambo to be more than just a one-movie character. Although the scene where Rambo dies was filmed it never made it into the movie. Rambo gives himself up and the colonel takes care of him. He lives to make some action packed sequels. If you haven't seen Rambo III or the latest movie simply entitled Rambo that came out a few years ago give them both a watch. If you like great action flicks then you won't be disappointed.
