10 Infuriating Movie Cliffhangers That Nobody Bothered To Wrap Up
7. What Happened To Kazan? - Cube
The Cliffhanger: 1997's devilishly entertaining low-budget thriller Cube revolves around a number of people who wake up inside a maze of cube-shaped rooms with no idea how they got there, and find themselves being picked off by the booby-trapped rooms. At the end of the movie, the only person to make it to the exit is Kazan (Andrew Miller), the autistic young man who proves to be so handy with prime numbers throughout the film. The final shot of the movie (pictured above) has Kazan wandering into a room bathed in brilliant white light, yet we have no idea what lies beyond or what happens to Kazan. What Probably Happened: The movie's sequel, Cube 2: Hypercube, has the survivor of that movie's cube be unceremoniously killed off once they escape it, though considering how different the second movie's cube is to the first, and how the second movie has nothing to do with the first, it doesn't really clue us in much. Maybe the first film's cube took Kazan into outer space, maybe there were aliens waiting for him on the other side: we have no freaking idea.
