The first two Terminator movies are jam-packed with examples of innocent bystanders who unfortunately end up crossing paths with a literal killing machine sent back through time from the future.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day in particular sees the T-1000 (Robert Patrick) rack up a stupendous body count as it mercilessly slaughters civilians in order to assume their identities or take their vehicles.

But by far the most brutal and memorable of the many poor saps murdered in the sequel is the "Hallway Pepsi Guy," as we'll call him.

During the brilliant early moment where John Connor (Edward Furlong) is cornered by both the T-1000 and the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in a mall hallway, Connor is also joined by a maintenance worker who'd just grabbed a can of ice cold Pepsi from the nearby vending machine.

The man warns John that he's not supposed to be in this area, but before he can do anything else, he's riddled with bullets by the T-1000, who shoots through him to try and hit John, who is fortunate enough to be shielded by the T-800.

Just picture it - you're taking a well-earned break from work to grab a refreshment, causing nobody any harm, only to get literally caught in the middle of a war for humanity's future, where you're turned into Swiss cheese no less.
