10 Insane Fan Theories For Upcoming Movies (That Might Actually Be True)

6. Bruce Lee Kills Charles Manson - Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

The Theory

Quentin Tarantino's highly anticipated new drama will conclude with Charles Manson (Damon Herriman) plotting to murder Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), only for Bruce Lee (Mike Moh) to intervene and save the day, killing Manson and his followers.

Why It Might Be True

Tarantino proved his penchant for revisionist history in his grisly finale to Inglourious Basterds, where he depicted the cathartic machine-gun slaughter of Adolf Hitler, and as such it's easy to believe that the Tate murders won't go down as tragically as they did in real life.

While a prevailing theory is that Tarantino might go the full exploitation revenge flick route by turning Tate into a femme fatale who kills her aggressors, wouldn't it be far more hilarious to see Lee come out of nowhere to save the day?

Furthermore, it'd neatly reflect Lee's conversation with Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) from the first trailer where they discuss the mechanics of murder and manslaughter, as well as the real-life fact that Lee was briefly suspected to have committed the murders by Tate's husband, Roman Polanski.

This third act rug-pull would also explain why Tarantino made a "Thanos demands your silence"-esque request for audiences and critics to keep mum about spoilers following its recent Cannes premiere.

Granted, spoilers are already going to be out there for those who want them, but why ruin the surprise?
