10 Insane Rumours For Upcoming Movies

5. Most Of The Cast Dies In The First Act - The Suicide Squad

Even for a superhero movie, James Gunn's The Suicide Squad boasts a frankly absurd ensemble cast, and given that Gunn has warned audiences not to get too attached to anyone, it seems pretty clear that a large chunk of the cast won't be making it to the end credits.

But it's also possible Gunn will go much further than that, and kill off almost every member of the cast before the first act is even done with, leaving behind just a few intrepid soldiers such as Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courteney), and because he's getting his own HBO Max series, Peacemaker (John Cena).

Don't be too shocked if Gunn pulls a Deadpool 2 and has literally dozens of name actors brutally murdered in the film's first major action sequence. It'd certainly explain how the production could juggle the schedules - and salary demands - of so many actors.

Though the more colourful members of the team will hopefully get some brief time to shine, don't expect the likes of King Shark (Steve Agee), Blackguard (Pete Davidson), and Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian) to be sticking around for too long.

And given that Idris Elba was literally re-cast from Deadshot to Bloodsport right before shooting began, it's easy to be suspicious about how long he'll be sticking around for.
