10 Insane Rumours For Upcoming Movies
7. Sif FINALLY Returns To The MCU - Thor: Love & Thunder
One of the biggest lingering question marks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date is the whereabouts of Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) childhood friend and fellow warrior Sif (Jaimie Alexander).
Sif last appeared on the big screen in 2013's Thor: The Dark World and, beyond two brief stints on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in 2014 and 2015, hasn't been seen since.
Jaimie Alexander's TV commitments prevented her from appearing in Thor: Ragnarok, but Kevin Feige has confirmed that the character is still alive, and Joe Russo later stated that Sif was disintegrated by Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap, before being presumably revived in Avengers: Endgame.
Rumours began to swirl recently regarding Sif's return to the MCU after Alexander mentioned on Instagram that she may be having to brush up on her horse-riding skills soon, possibly implying Sif's appearance in the fourth Thor film.
Of course it's entirely possible we'll actually see Sif in either the Loki Disney+ series or Sif's own rumoured streaming show, or perhaps Alexander was simply expressing her own desire to return to the role.
But given how the character is one of Loki's closest comrades and is 100% still alive, it'd be daft not to bring her back if scheduling allows.
