The culmination of a 12 year story arc on a scale never before attempted in movies, Avengers Endgame was always going to have a few nonsensical issues. Several made it into the final cut, how did Captain America age into our timeline, why build up Thor only to nerf him AGAIN, the list goes on. The craziest of these however is the decision to reverse the snap it its entirety without any real consideration of the consequences.

Think about what would happen in the 5 years since the snap. Half the worlds farms would be unused, half the world's housing would be unusable and there would be shortages of all major products and medicines. It is even mentioned in the film the world is better off post snap, with reductions in crime, poverty and famine. However they never even consider doing several smaller snaps, using Thor or even reviving Vision to do so.

Suddenly adding 3.5 billion people back on to a world that lacks the infrastructure to sustain them is a death sentence, not only to them but to those who were never snapped. The world would immediately face food shortages, rampant homelessness and poverty on a scale never before seen pre-snap.
