Scarlet Witch may appear to have it all together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but over in the comics, she's had some problems over the years. It doesn't help that she can alter the very fabric of reality, and following the House of M storyline, that's exactly what she did.

With just three words, Wanda Maximoff reduced a population of mutants in the Marvel Universe, which included millions of individuals, to a mere 198. Now, she didn't kill all of those people, but she did remove the gene that caused their mutation in the first place, which essentially stripped them of their powers.

There was a lot of focus on superheroes during the fallout of the so-called "Decimation" of mutants, but they weren't the only people affected. There were plenty of supervillains who also lost their ability to use their powers to carry out their misdeeds, which put them at a severe disadvantage.

There were tons of upper-tier supervillains, as well as some lower-tier folks who lost their powers due to Wanda's Decimation. Some of the people who lost their abilities include the Blob, Crimson Commando, Hazard, Phantazia, Unus the Untouchable, and all of the Belles except for Briquette.
