2. ...And More Solo Vader!

There were two big Vader shots we saw in the trailers, but not in the film - and both appear to be ripped from the same scene, or at least, from the same location.

Vader seems to be observing a computer display of some kind. It's hard to place this in the timeline of the movie's events, as he's largely removed from the plot's central gaze, so this could be anywhere, at any time; he could've been sent some information about the Death Star, or this could be part of a firing sequence.

Or, this could have been shot purely to be used in the trailers. The image certainly looks perfect for generating online buzz and the scene certainly doesn't look important, which could be an understated observation, but Vader checking his emails is hardly more exciting than the final massacre scene we eventually ended up getting.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too.
