2. X-Ray Glasses - The World is Not Enough
Gadget: X-ray specs are the ultimate dream when you're a young boy who's never seen a girl in her undies, and it seems James Bond was once one of those boys, based on how he uses this very slick gadget. While their intended use, as instructed by Q, is to discern who the bad guys are in a crowd by allowing the wearer the ability to see concealed weapons, 007 takes a moment to check out the ladies working the casino games. Some urges we just never grow out of. Real World Application: Aside from copying Bond in every way, I would use these glasses to help me remember where I put that one thing in that one box that one time. Instead of digging through a wall of boxes, I'd just stand in front of them and look. Another, more controversial use would be at airport security check points, where you could just have a x-ray glass-lined tunnel to walk through in the interest of speeding things up. Come to think of it, it would look exactly like the one in the original Total Recall. (I avoided the recent remake, so I don't know if it's in that one too.) And the number one Bond gadget of all time is....
