One of the most traumatizing and painful death scenes in the annals of cinema finds itself at number 1 on our list. At the height of its power, Walt Disney Studios produced some of the greatest animated films of all-time. These films packed a wallop because Disney Studios didn't pull any punches, even though they created films aimed at impressionable tykes (see: Old Yeller). Bambi's mom's demise at the hands of a hunter, ruining Bambi's idyllic childhood, has disturbed generations of children and has been many peoples' introduction to having their mind blown cinematically.
