Has there ever been a movie monster which received such an unexpected reaction in cinematic history? There we are, sat amongst the Ghostbusters as they're doing their very best to clear their minds of all thoughts, thus preventing Gozer from taking form of the most evil thing any of the men can think of. Their celebrations are cut immediately short when Ray reveals that there was one totally harmless image he couldn't remove from his head...so down through Manhattan stomps a gigantic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. An eighty foot tall marshmallow made of pure evil.

No, it's not scary, but that's because it's part of the Ghostbusters movie. Yes, it is hilarious, but again, it has to be, as it's starring alongside Bill Murray. But I'd be truly impressed if anyone watching the movie for the first time didn't find themselves totally aghast at what waddled onto screen at that moment...even if that shock was pretty quickly replaced by giggling.
