6. Alfred Isn't Addressing Superman In The Trailer
“He said you'd come. Now let's hope you're not too late."
It's obviously Superman Alfred is talking to in the Justice League trailer, isn't it? All signs point to this being a teaser for the Man of Steel's inevitable resurrection, but it would be one hell of a twist if it was somebody else.
The only evidence to suggest otherwise is the question of why the risen Superman would choose Batman's butler to reveal himself to. Why not his adoptive mother or Lois Lane? Or even the Caped Crusader himself?
There's an outside chance that this could be one of the Bat Family returning to Gotham City to join up with the Justice League. We know Nightwing must be at large in the DCEU since he has a solo outing on the horizon.
Some fans have claimed there's a hint of red on the edge of the screen in this sequence, which does add credence to the Superman theory, but he isn't the only DC superhero with a crimson cape - Batwoman, anyone?
Granted, Supes does appear to be the most likely candidate, but the possibility that Justice League is throwing fans a curveball here cannot be ruled out entirely.
