5. Superman Imposters In Metropolis
There are a dozen potential follow-up films that Justice League could set in motion, from Flashpoint to Matt Reeves's The Batman.
Another is Man of Steel 2, which is expected to be formally announced in the wake of the ensemble movie, and there are a number of ways Zack Snyder could set it up.
After killing off Kal-El in Batman v Superman and raising him from the dead in Justice League, the Man of Steel sequel could tackle the fan-favourite Return of Superman story arc, in which several Superman imposters claim to be the hero reborn.
Justice League could set this up by having a bogus Superman - potentially the Eradicator, since The Cyborg would only be confused with Cyborg - arrive in Metropolis while the heroes are battling Steppenwolf in some far-off location.
A direct Return of Superman retelling would be problematic, not least because of the Cyborg-related problem, but there's no reason why Man of Steel 2 cannot be a loose adaptation of the source material, teased in Justice League's post-credits scene.
