10 Key Elements To Make A Great Power Rangers Movie
1. Morphers & Morphing
The best part of any Power Rangers episode was when things finally got serious enough that the heroes had to morph into their super powered counterparts. The transformation, from displaying the Morphers to the morph sequence itself signifies that the stakes just went up and the action is about to get serious.
Missing from the most recent big screen iteration completely, all things Morpher related were sorely missed. There should have been an emphasis on the power of the Power Coins not being able to be harnessed on their own, there should also have been an importance placed on the sequence needed to use the Morphers correctly. While it's corny to think of the original morphing sequences being translated into film without it looking childish there is always a way.
Simply adding the Morphers and the Morpher sequence with a more movie friendly version of the original heavy metal tune would have made the more recent movie considerably more appealing.
Finally, imagine the toy revenue that a new breed of Morphers would generate for the owners of the property, as if they needed more incentive.
