10 Last-Minute Replacements If Ben Affleck Quits The Batman
8. Scott Eastwood
Without a doubt the biggest wildcard and most 'WTF' entry on this list, Scott Eastwood has spent the last few years establishing his own identity as an actor in an attempt to step out of the enormous shadow of his legendary father. And what better way to strike out on your own than to take on the mantle of one of the most famous characters in popular culture?
Admittedly, he is way too young for the current older, wiser, more grizzled iteration of the character which is ironic considering his father was frequently linked with the part of middle-aged Bruce Wayne when The Dark Knight Returns was being considered for the big-screen in decades past but Eastwood Jr. undoubtedly has a long career ahead of him, so his time may yet come.
Of course, Eastwood already has a role in the DCEU but given the brief and undeveloped nature of his part in Suicide Squad, a lot of people have probably already forgotten that he was even in it. Nonetheless, the naturally-charismatic 31 year-old has improved massively as an actor in recent years and could be an interesting left-field choice for the Dark Knight in the future given his chiselled looks and a jawline you could set your watch to.
