10 Latest Major Movie Blockbuster Release Date Changes You Need To Know About

For better or worse, filmmaker Christopher Nolan appears to be borderline obsessed with making sure Tenet is the movie that brings people back to cinemas, even if it means putting their health at risk. He wants to do everything he can to help exhibitors, an admirable attitude to what's going on, but one that seems unrealistic given the current climate.

That would explain why Tenet has moved from July 17th to July 31st to August 13th to a now undisclosed release date. Warner Bros. made the decision recently to pull the mysterious sci-fi adventure from the calendar altogether, but are said to have plans for a staggered release.

That's going to entail some countries getting it before others and, in the United States, it will open in some cities, but not all of them depending on the number of reported cases. Despite there not being a firm release date, September has been mentioned as a strong possibility for Tenet, meaning that, as of right now, no major new releases will be screened until the end of the summer/early autumn.
