While the title of the last entry was slightly disheartening, this one is straight up misleading! I'll say it right here, there are absolutely no trolls in this movie at all. It's merely a marketing trick because the distributors had thought that the movie would fail without a better known title. Well, it failed anyway so whatever. The viewer is following the misadventures of an average American family going to a vacation to the town of Nilbog. Let that sink in - the town is called Nilbog. One can only presume that it's getting the Captain Obvious award every single year since its founding. Anyway, the 'city' is filled with vegetarian goblins that do not eat plants. Whoa, logic override right there. The stupid things actually lure humans to turn them into vegetables. So much simpler than growing lettuce or something. The acting is absolutely horrendous, the creatures are plain bad and nothing in the entire movie ever makes sense. It was a failure right from the start, and the carefully conducted promotional gimmick hadn't helped at all.
