The killer shrews. Well, this title gives the mystery away right at the start. As disappointing as that might be, there is something weirdly interesting about seeing shrews that actually murder human beings. If you feel the same, all you'll find watching this flick is more disappointment and a couple of laughs. This time around I just have to note the storyline due to its naive, almost childish take on what's going around. A scientist is trying to create some sort of serum that would make humans much smaller to prevent world hunger. Cartoon logic, I guess. Anyway, his work resulted in shrews that get bigger with each passing day, and look suspiciously similar to pretty docile dogs with stuff taped on them. In the end, after many deaths at the hands of the killer shrews, the survivors decided to make a run for the ocean and swim away from the wicked creatures. But the main question is how are they going to make it there. And that's when the cartoon reasoning kicks in again. The people actually jump in some metal barrels that the shrews seemingly cannot bite through and run for the shore. After watching, you will ask yourself what the hell you just saw.
