10 Laziest Movie Titles In Cinema History

5. Man on a Ledge

Man on a Ledge It certainly describes the central conceit of the film, but still manages to tell us virtually nothing about the fact that this is a heist film rather than one about a suicidal man who spends 2 hours contemplating jumping from a ledge. The only thing worse than this woefully unimaginative title - which ended up being derisively renamed Bland on a Ledge by critics - is the fact that the phrase "man on a ledge" is painfully shoehorned into the film by news reporters every so often, as if we'd forgotten what it was called... The title doesn't tell us the guy's name or where the ledge is; it's simply about a guy on a ledge - and apparently that's supposed to interest us. As it turns out, it didn't, and the film was a verifiable box office bomb, earning just a few million dollars past its budget.
