10 Least Accurate Movie Portrayals Of Comic Book Characters Ever

Although Ben Affleck's Batman certainly has a place in superhero cinema, Zack Snyder's rendition of the Caped Crusader is woefully inaccurate and downright offensive to longtime comic book fans.

Other than being the World's Greatest Detective, if there is one thing Batman is known for it's that he doesn't carry guns, and he certainly doesn't kill. The reason why Bruce Wayne dawns the cowl every night is to ensure no one has to go through the same pain he went through when his parents were brutally murdered, as he watched, helplessly. If Batman kills, then he is no better than the criminals he is trying to protect Gotham from.

In Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Dark Knight happily goes around mindlessly mowing down goons, destroying their cars and essentially signing death warrants when he brands the criminals who had committed the most heinous crimes, knowing that they will be murdered in prison.

Some have argued that this is meant to be an interpretation of Batman from The Dark Knight Returns storyline, where an old and worn Bats is less merciful. Even so, Batman never actually kills anyone in that story, even if he comes close to killing the Joker.

So, which ever way you look at it, Batman does not kill, though Zack Snyder clearly didn't understand that.
