10 Least Terrifying Villains In Horror Movie History

2. The Scarman - Cut

Many will have not heard of this 2000 Aussie 'thriller', and there's a real good reason for that. This car crash of a production, starring none other than Molly Ringwald and Kylie Minogue, examines a curse that comes alive and kills a crew of young filmmakers.

The premise isn't the worst but the execution is horrid, with the 'villainous' Scarman appearing as if he'd popped down to the local charity store and found the last Halloween costume remaining on the shelves. The manner in which it takes down its victims is also lazy and befitting a B grade horror film looking for laughs rather than a film genuinely trying to be scary.

The clincher of how bad this film is comes with the reveal of who the villain is- the essence of the film the students are trying to make. That's right, the villain is an essence of a film. The villain is seemingly disposed off when the film is burnt, something which unfortunately didn't befall the film itself.
