10 Legacy Horror Movie Sequels Everyone Actually Wants To See

8. Leprechaun

Before Jennifer Aniston hit it big with Friends, she took on the role of Tory in the horror comedy, Leprechaun.

The film opens with Tory's family moving into a new house, only to learn there's a leprechaun (Warwick Davis) locked in the basement. When the Celtic fairy breaks free, he seeks out his gold, killing anyone who stands in his way. With the help of a kid called Alex, the pair defeat the Irish monster by force-feeding him a four-leafed clover. (As you do.)

Even though Leprechaun wasn't great, a sequel was greenlit after the film made eight times its budget. But since Aniston was busy being on the world's biggest sitcom, she obviously didn't return. After becoming an A-list star, Aniston has never had time to appear in any of the seven sequels. (Yes, there's that many.) With Warwick Davis choosing not to reprise the title role for the last two instalments, it looks like the Leprechaun series is on the way out.

But if a studio desired to revitalise the franchise, it would be great for Aniston and Davis to show their faces. Even if Aniston appeared in a small role, it would mean the world to die-hard fans.
