10 A-List Actors Yet To Appear In A Comic Book Movie (And Who They Could Play)

5. Julianne Moore: Barbara Gordon/Oracle

Writing and researching this article has revealed the true lack of Hollywood actresses who could still be considered A-list over the age of 30, and of the few there are not many of them haven't already appeared in a comic book movie of some kind. Julianne Moore is one of the few that does fall into this category, a fine and accomplished actress who would add gravitas to the genre were there a suitable role to be found for her. One possibility is the flame haired daughter of Commissioner Gordon: Barbara. This is another age appropriate casting idea which would fit the older-Batman approach Zak Snyder is taking with the character. It€™s difficult to imagine Moore suited up as Batgirl but she would make for a fantastic wheelchair-bound Oracle version of the character. Here Moore would function as a kind of Miss Moneypenny on wheels, who has a never-acted-upon sexual tension and a similar kind of banter interplay with Bruce, and is one of his most trusted confidantes. Alternatively if the series of Bat-Fleck featuring films continues and his villains are also cast age appropriate, then there could be far worse choices than Moore for Poison Ivy, but it would be a severe departure from Hollywood female casting protocol for such a decision to come to fruition.
