Fantasy Casting: Justin H. Min

Amadeus Cho has already featured in the MCU, although that was in The Incredible Hulk where he was played by Martin Starr. Considering Hulk himself has been recast by now and Starr has since played Roger Harrington (Spidey’s teacher), it’s safe to say Cho has a decent chance of returning on his own.

Cho is insanely smart, to the point where there’s an ongoing feud about just how intelligent he is in the comics. Reed Richards puts Cho at 7th smartest in the world, while Hank Pym has him at 8th and Banner as low as 10th. This, for some reason, is a big deal.

He also inherits Hercules adamantium mace (although with no MCU Hercules, this may have to go), as well as augmenting himself with various upgrades. Most interestingly, he can turn himself into the Hulk at will, offering the cinematic battles of Hulk without the chaos and destruction.

In all honesty, Martin Starr had no business playing a Korean American, so a clean start is for the best. Justin H. Min, who grew in prominence during The Umbrella Academy’s first season and should get a bigger role next, is a much better fit.
